Winners and past winners meet at residential weekend

Friday, July 20th, 2012

Members from our 2011 winning projects met at a special residential weekend, organised by Nacro, as part of their prize.

It was a great opportunity for them to get to know other young winners past and present, share ideas and meet supporters from the Philip Lawrence Awards Network.

NASUWT, the union that supports the awards, lent us the venue. Fixers, the charity of young people that advise other young people, led a session and Frances Lawrence attended to discuss the awards.

Many of the young people said they felt they had come away with new friendships, contacts and ideas to help sustain and develop their projects.
