The Ceremony
The 2008 awards ceremony took place on 2 December 2008.
Nine fantastic groups of young people received awards for their work. These groups are breaking down barriers, bridging generations, dispelling myths, celebrating difference and telling it like it is. They’re challenging stereotypes, they’re tackling big issues, they’re keeping young people healthy and safe, and they’re helping combat knife crime. All together these award winners are proving that young people can and do make a difference in their communities, and we applaud them.
