2005 PLAnet Awards
The Ceremony
Ten groups of young people from across the UK won the prestigious Philip Lawrence Award in 2005. Sir Trevor McDonald presented the awards in a ceremony at the Bloomsbury Theatre, London on 6 December.
The winning groups bring together young people from a diverse range of backgrounds and tackle a range of important issues including: bullying, self-harming, racial harmony, improving environments for young people with progressive life-limiting conditions and helping older people remain independent.
If you’re from one of the winning groups, we’d love to hear from you. If you’d like to update your project profile, add information or pictures, please get in touch!
