Who we are

8 young people, working with London Bubble.

Where we're based

Rotherhithe, London

When we started

Jun-09

How we started

LB360 started with funding from Southwark youth services in April 2009. London Bubble has a history of creating Peer to Peer theatre performances and this programme was devised to continue that work and support young people who are not in education, employment or training.

Our work

LB360 trains young people in Southwark who are NEET to become theatre makers and workshop leaders. The young people create and tour interactive theatre workshops around issues of concern for young people. They tour to schools and youth clubs across South London. Last year the group focussed on street crime and abusive relationships. This year they are looking at street harassment, particularly oppression because of gender, sexuality and image.

Future plans

To raise the profile of the programme and extend the period in which the company tour their work. To provide an access accreditation for the participants. To have a greater investment in the design, set and costumes of the touring piece.
