Two young entrepreneurs set up Corby Magazine which is distributed free of charge to Corby residents.
Who we are
These two young entrepreneurs started a magazine in their home town and want to share their knowledge of enterprise with other young people.
Where we're based
Corby, Northamptonshire
When we started
May 2010
How we started
It started as a school media project by Sean Spooner and Louis Porter and has grown into a viable commercial enterprise. They are currently the youngest publishers in the world and have been interviewed on BBC Breakfast and for many enterprise blogs.
Our work
Corby Magazine is an advertisement supported community magazine that is distributed free of charge to Corby residents. Corby is the fastest growing town in the UK, and the two lads that run it make sure they deliver it to all the new housing estates to help the newcomers become part of the Corby Community.
Future plans
They want to run a media empire, create apps for phones, create more enterprises and share their knowledge of enterprise with other young people! They have already delivered a young people's business event at the new Corby Enterprise Centre, which they hope to do every year.
