Projects in the Network range massively from helping the aged to awareness campaigns, and setting up radio stations to creating youth forums. There are no boundaries to what your project is or where you are from. Our network includes everyone from schools and youth groups to clubs and youth offending teams. If you don’t have a project, why not see if there is one in your area that you can get involved with?

Gecko helps young people with activities and training to keep them aware and safe in day to day activites.
Makin’ It Happen (MIH) is the youth forum for Industrial Dwellings Society (Housing social landlord IDS) ensuring that young people and their views are represented at every level of IDS.
The project offers a safe relaxed social setting where young people of the area can access advice on lots of issues e.g.Housing,Sexual health, drugs and alcohol,l.g.b.t. safe space,anti social behaviour and are also involved in a multi agency approach to everything they do.

Kotchin, in case you're wondering, is north London slang for chilling. It suggests a place where you can relax, be safe and not worry. Some people have that at home, many don't. Kotchin provides not so much a place but more a way of life that welcomes and values people in all their diversity.

A sense of belonging is one of the most basic of all human needs. With prejudices still surrounding those with mental illness, however, it can often feel like a lonely world.
With the launch of the ‘Who am I?’ campaign and video, the PLAnet youth fellowship are seeking to challenge negative stereotypes of young people, and are encouraging 11 - 20 year olds who are involved in community projects to enter the awards and get recognised.
