Could you be the stars of our campaign? Enter our photo challenge

We want to make young people the stars of our marketing campaign for the 2010 awards. We’re asking groups to take part by taking photographs of their group that show the positivity, cooperation and friendship at the heart of a PLAnet project. You could be featured on our website or poster, and will be entered in a prize draw to win a digital camera for your group.

Where are they now? ChatBack Productions

Philip Lawrence Award winners ChatBack Productions are in the news again with their latest project - a film called ‘Handle with Care’. Local comedian and soap star Josie Lawrence has joined the group of young people to star in the film which is currently being filmed in Dudley.

Young people unfairly demonised by adults

Research launched today shows two thirds of adults in Britain overestimate the number of young people involved in crime. Furthermore, one in 10 of the adults questioned over-estimated youth crime by a staggering eight times, effectively labelling two in every five teenagers a criminal.
