Who should join the network?
The network is for any group of young people working together to improve their lives and the lives of others. This could mean groups from schools, youth groups, clubs, young people working with the youth service, youth offending teams, community safety teams, youth forums, positive futures and community space challenge projects – in fact any group of young people aged 11-20.
What happens when your project joins the network?
We will ensure you get the recognition you deserve! We will be in touch to confirm the details you have sent through to us; give you your own profile page, a global platform to shout about the good work you are doing within your project and we’ll add it to our map of other inspiring work by young people.
You can make your page stand out with photos, before and after shots; get testimonials from those you’re working with and post the latest news for your project. You can choose to allow people to get in touch with you through a contact box on your page. We will forward any messages to you – we won’t give out your details without permission.
We’re developing the project pages to make them more personalised and plan to add new features to let you get more involved. If you have any suggestions, please let us know.
Is this the same as making an awards nomination?
Please note, filling in this form creates a project profile on the site and adds you to our network, but does not mean you have entered the awards. Awards nominations are not currently open.
If you’re still not sure, why not take a look at some of the projects already registered?
